Where
do our graduates attend high school? Over the past
twenty-five years, typically one half of our
graduating students attend public high school while
the other half attends independent secondary
schools. Public schools attended include Palos
Verdes Peninsula High School, Palos Verdes High
School, South High School and West High School
(both of Torrance), Redondo Union High School, and
Mira Costa High School (Manhattan Beach).
Independent secondary schools include Chadwick,
Windward, Marlborough, Crossroads, Rolling Hills
Prep, Loyola, Archer, Notre Dame, Mary Star of the
Sea, Bishop Montgomery, and Marymount. Boarding
schools that Country Day students have attended
include Choate Rosemary Hall, Deerfield Academy,
The Cate School, The Vivian Webb Schools, Santa
Catalina School, and Culver Military
Academy.
