RHCDS participates in after-school sports as a member of the South Bay Athletic League. In addition to RHCDS, Member teams in the league include: Ascension Lutheran School, Christ Lutheran School, First Lutheran School, Riviera Hall, Coast Christian School, Rolling Hills Preparatory School, and Trinity Lutheran School. The sports for Sixth through Eighth Grade students include: • Boys' and girls' soccer • Boys' and girls' basketball • Girls' volleyball • Co-ed water polo • Co-ed swim team After school competitive team sports at Country Day are an integral part of the overall physical development of our students. Approximately 80% of our student body participates in at least one sport during the year, wherein both skill development and good sportsmanship are emphasized.
